$1200 gaming pc. What do you guys think?

So I've been buying parts for PC I'm trying to build this summer. I'm deciding to go with a Ryzen 5 1600 instead of a i5 6500. This will be my first time building this thing, so I wanted to know your opinions.. Is it looking good?

Looks like a very nice overall build, although I'd recommend getting higher speed RAM. 8 GB should be fine for gaming, although you could probably get 16 if you wanted to go big. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dqjf4C

Yeah looks good. The only suggestion I might make is Ryzen likes faster ram but it only gives you a few more fps in game from what I hear.

I'd pay the extra $30 for the 1600X. You also might want to consider a full size ATX board. I like MSI boards, but the limitations of the SATA ports on their B350 offerings can get frustrating in the long run. Especially if your future expansion include an M2 drive.
