Ok i am having this annoying problem ever since i downloaded and installed Windows creator update couple months ago (Windows 10).

Here is the exact problem:
If i am playing games (any game) and using IDM (Internet Download Manager) to download files in the background using queue to download multiple files my game gets minimzed whenever IDM finishes downloading one file and starts another.
I have been using IDM for as long as i can remember and this issue only just starting to happen after i downloaded and applied the last windows 10 creators update, i didn't change any setting in IDM and this gets really annoying. Anyone else having this issue?

I have GTX 1080 and i am obviously using the latest drivers.

It's probably a notification setting in IDM that's popping up a message every time a download completes, but that then doesn't actually show up in the usual batch of screen flickers that happen when a fullscreen game gets minimized. Check the notification settings in IDM.

There is no setting for that and even where there is a setting to display download start dialog here what's written:
"Note: These settings don't relate to queue processing"

And the setting was always like this, not that i changed anything. I am pretty sure its some issue with Windows last update because as i said it only started to happen after i applied windows creator update.

Weird. To be completely honest, the only download manager I regularly use is Steam, so I don't really have all that much experience with any of the others; that being said, if it's not a screwy notification, I'm not sure what it could possibly be. I don't think Windows...wait a minute.

Windows 10 has the Action Center that shows you all the notifications you've received. Check there and see if IDM is posting notifications there. If it is, check the Action Center settings to see if there's a setting for an actual popup.
