WD Black 3.5" vs. 2.5": Which one to choose?

So between WD Black 3.5 Desktop vs. 2.5 Mobile versions, which one should I prefer?

Desktop version has slightly higher price, but double the cache (32MB vs. 64MB).
Mobile version is slightly cheaper and is smaller, but has half the cache.

Can't find any performance comparisons online to decide. Is there a reason to prefer any over the other?

The 3.5 is a retail kit and the 2.5 is an OEM drive. The retail kit cost more than just an OEM bare drive. See if you can find the 3.5 OEM drive and I'm sure it will be less than the 2.5

Price is almost nearly the same, so that is not my concern at the moment. I'm more interested in finding out if the smaller drive will result in significant/any performance loss, in which case I'll go for the bigger drive.
