I read the definition of this software and it specifically mentions its existence with the video card. My desktop is using only integrated video, so does all that CCC implies still have the same effect?

Solution
You can use Catalyst if you are using a dedicated AMD GPU, an AMD APU (combines the CPU and GPU), or an integrated AMD video controller.

What are the specifications (make/model) of your system?

My AMD is APU. ..A10 7850K...my desktop is generic i build it. I get occasional reminder that it 'exists' in my system, though I have ignored it since I did my build 2 years ago. Its a little too puzzling for me as I read that reference to it here.

I downloaded the driver as you recommended and installed it. Now that I have it, I checked Device Manager to see if it was there and I did not find this driver anywhere...Display folder kept showing "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", and below under the Processors folder was "AMD A10-7850 APU with Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics" , which was listed 4 times, and was always there before I even installed this latest one. Perhaps I had the driver all along, and if so, why isn't it shown under the Display folder as a driver? Aside from that, can you tell me something about this driver? What can I do with it or expect of it? Thanks
