My speakers just broke and when i plug my aux cord for my headset in sound doesn't come through. My pc doesn't have built in speakers when i open up playback devices it just shows VIA HD audio and avsoft virtual audio devices as options and not my headset (which is beexcelent). I have the headphones plugged into the audio jack not the mic jack btw.

Solution
The via Hd is the motherboards built in sound card .It wont show your headset Beexcelent if it connects with aux 3.5mm lead, but that will be the sound for your headset. Using the green plug on the back panel or front panel if its connected. Set the viahd to default.
