Intel - Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
MSI - H110M Gaming Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
EVGA - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB SC GAMING ACX 2.0 Video Card
Corsair - CXM 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Wondering how well it will run games like Overwatch, CoD, Battlegrounds, etc.

Solution

3GB is enough but 6GB might show better performance.

how bad would it be to get 8GB (on a budget rn) will do for the GPU

8GB is fine. But 16GB is better. The GPU upgrade will be necessary.

that motherboard is really cheap but meets my needs which is why i like it. So you would even recommend going to a cheaper GPU like an i5-6500 ?

the i5-6500 is an awesome CPU for the price and pairs well with a 1060.
Protip: pcpartpicker.com is an awesome site for getting your parts list together and it automatically checks for compatibility issues,

Yes that would work well. There is another budget option if a i3 runs those games fine paired with a good GPU. The Pentium G4560 is essentially a i3-6100 with the hyper-threading and is a great budget option at $60. Pairing that with a B250 motherboard should save you quite a bit of cash that could be put into a better GPU such as the RX 570 or a SSD for the OS.

So staying at 8GB and getting 1060 would be nice?
