4 core 8 thread ryzen build , virtually the same price.the only concessions made are the hard drives & 8gb ram.
This to me is your best option by an absolute mile.

I would suggest going over to Uk.pcpartpicker.com and putting your build together over there first because it will show you prices from a bunch of websites and get you the best deal. Also you have ddr3 ram listed but you need ddr4.

thanks so much buddy, you probably saved me a lot of confusion and time with that, does that mean if i switch it out to a ddr4 ram then the list is approved?

There are other issues there. I'd get a better quality power supply and go with a Kaby Lake Pentium with b250 motherboard rather than an i3 at this point. The new Pentiums have hyperthreading and perform almost the same as an i3 in gaming, but for a much lesser price that you can put towards saving up for a significantly better CPU than a Pentium/i3. Working with PC Part Picker makes it easier since we can just edit your existing list.

You can do better for a little bit more. If price needs to be lower then swap the CPU to the G4560 which is almost identical to that i3-6100, or you could skip on the SSD for now.

Well there are a few things I would change. You could get a current gen b250 motherboard and a pentium g4560 (which they added hyper threading to this time around so it's about equal to an i3 6100 at about half the cost). Also I would just use the cooler that comes with the CPU and use the money saved to buy a better Psu. Like a corsair cx550m, seasonic s12ii 520, or an Evga b2 or b3.

All from Amazon , swapped the i3 our for the pentium - there is virtually no difference performance wise. That gets you 16gb ram & a RX 580 in for less than your original budget.

My thoughts were very similar to madmatt30s pentium build but that Ryzen build would give you a lot more cpu power. I don't know what you will be doing on the computer but the Ryzen would be much better at multitasking, and newer games are using more threads. I'll put up the changes I made to your build but like I said it's similar to madmatt30s.
