"No signal from HDMI" screen on Asus MG279; I don't know anything about computers

I picked out all of the parts and had a service build my PC for me. I'm trying to connect my PC, which is running, to my Asus monitor, which is running, but I'm not getting an image. They are connected via HDMI cable.

I will give any information if you can help! I can say these few things that might be of substance: my case is a Thermaltake CoreV51. There is a tiny blue light next to the main power button that is flashing pink. When I turn on my PC I do hear a small beep. I'll give specs if you ask! It's kind of difficult for me to find spec information so I'd rather only give it if someone knows it will help.

I'm sorry I'm so dumb. But thank you if you help me.

Solution
1. Contact the people who built the PC
2. See if the Monitor has an input select. Make sure you select HDMI on the monitor.
3. Look to see if there are TWO different HDMI connectors on your PC -- this will be true if you have an add-in video card. Make sure you are plugged into the video card HDMI out. If you are not sure what this means then try the HMDI cable in every HDMI port you can see (power off, switch cable, power up, see whats there.
