I bought a Xeon Thinkstation, which is really fast. Specs:

Processor: Inter(R) Xeon(R) CPU E31230 @ 3.20 GHz

Installed memory (RAM): 12.0 GB

System type: 64 bit

Everything works great except for my graphics card. On graphic-intense games, it runs at 5-10 FPS. I need a new graphics card. My budget is around 100-200$, and I want the best possible one you can find in that price range.

Thanks for your help!

If what you have is a Lenovo ThinkStation E30, then that has a 280W power supply. That being the situation, a 1050 Ti would be the fastest videocard you could run without having to upgrade the power supply. You'd need to make sure it was a model that did not require a 6 pin power connector too.

One potential issue, on a motherboard that old, a 1050 Ti might not work. Those cards can sometimes require that the motherboard have a UEFI bios, which I doubt yours has.

An RX 460 2gb would be your next best choice, and likelier to be compatible. It's less powerful though.

Something like an RX 470 or 570 would be ideal but those use more power and you'd have to spend more money to buy a new power supply. Older cards are an option, but the...

It looks like that computer includes a 96 CUDA core Quadro 600, which is not a fast card to start with, and it's not meant for gaming. That's why performance in games on it sucks.

You might be better suited to saving your money, suffering through whatever you've got for now until you can save more, and then upgrading. That Xeon, while fast, isn't really ideally suited as a gaming build and especially not with the PSU you've got nor the board to which it's attached. As the guy above stated, your options are exceedingly limited and even with the choices he's mentioned there is the considerable chance that they won't work.

Weigh your options carefully before moving forward with a new card no matter what it may be.
