What is a good sound card? Do I need a mixer for live streaming on twitch.tv or youtube? Would a sound card improve my Roccat?

What is a good sound card less than $100? Do I need a mixer for live streaming games on twitch or youtube? Would a sound card improve my microphone on my Roccat Kave Stereo Headset?

If I can improve my microphone audio I think it is worth purchasing a sound card. I don't even know what a mixer does let alone how to use it. I have purchased the computer hardware and I am about to be ready for streaming. Now I just have to focus on the audio and mic setup.

Dude , If you're using a gaming headset or a microphone , simply download the latest driver for your device . Then , if you wish to boost your microphone's sensitivity , use these two softwares :-
1. Equaliser APO
2. Peace APO

Simply search for that title and follow the instructions and you're all good to go .

My Roccat Kave is a stereo headset. It plugs directly into the mic and audio jack. Isn't this software for USB mics?

Nahh , don't worry man . It works for any type of mic . Both Jacks and USBs . Try it , and you'll be saving yourself that few bucks from buying an audio card. Cheers !
