Is my $1700 full build good?

ryzen is not a good choice for 144hz gaming

go with an i7 7700k build, or jump up to a 1440p 60hz monitor

because higher resolutions are gpu bound

what happens when gpu's catch up? the cpu's weakness becomes apparent

Get this.
A headset would also be a better choice imo.
Speakers are great, but you need a headset for online gaming.
DVD drives are also unnecessary, everything is a software download, and windows comes on a USB.
