this is my rig : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BtpZd6
i need to find a proper cooler for it i want to overclock it while playing ark for 12hours or even more sessions.
what can be good for it? something that doesnt cost alot tho..
is coolermaster hyper LED enough? i mean like alot of gameplay tho i tend to play ark for like 12-16 hours straight.
also the corsair h60 is pretty cheap how is this cooler?
i can buy it but arent liquid coolers dangerous and can destroy your whole rig..?

Solution
Some games are already using more than 4 threads. Where the i5 might give you 3-4 yrs, the i7 can give you another couple of years easily. Besides if you open a couple of Chrome tabs, along with the game as well as some other app, the 7600k might start to show some lag. Multitasking will be better with the 7700k.
Coming to the overclock, you need a real beast of a cooler to take it to 5ghz. Probably with Nitrogen cooling. 7600k comes at 3.8ghz stock. 7700k come at 4.2ghz stock. With the H7, you can take the 7600k to somewhere around 4.5ghz and the 7700k around the 4.8ghz. For anything beyond, you need to step up to the next level and go with either a Cryorig R1 or a Noctua DH15.
The 212 & gammaxx 400 are good enough coolers unless you're really pushing for monster overclocks mate.

Up to 4.5ghz or so they're enough.

The h60 is fairly pointless , it'll cool about the same.
Stick with an air cooler , its not like your lacking case airflow with a z3 plus.

im sorry im not very familiar with overclocking but you think 4.5ghz is enough?
il play the game ark which takes alot of shit from your computer and il be playing it constantly for 12hours or more.
will the coolermaster 212 EVO be enough for that?

Modified your list a bit and included one of the best coolers. The i7 will last you longer. See if you like it. The Cryorig H7 is called the Evo Killer because it beats the Evo by sheer performance. The board comes with lots of connectivity options, overclocking potential and features like superior audio codec with headphone amps, bluetooth and wifi.

oh i forgot to mention im not buying the rig, i already have most if it..
the only thing that im buying is the motherboard cpu, cooler, ram and SSD..

In that case, get this board. It has got everything that the F Gaming has and then some more at only $12 extra. The RAM and SSD should be good enough with either choice. Ofcourse the Samsung SSD is better but more expensive. Get the H7 cpu cooler. Its really good in terms of performance.

is it really worth getting the 7700k rather than 7600k?
will it really change alot? because 7600k is a pretty strong cpu by itself isnt it..
and will the H7 Cooler be enough to cool the 7700k while overclocking for like 5ghz or more? and thats for the game ark for sessions of like 12 hours

The 7700k is absolutely worth the extra mate (not really for ark but definitely for future proofing)

You're obsessing too much about overclocking too.
The 7600k & 7700k don't need oc to run ark at good fps , they have very high base/boost clocks & incredible single core performance.

The h7 indeed is a very very good cooler.

thanks a bunch thats just the thing i needed to hear.
so if i get the 7700k with the h7 i shouldnt go over 4.8ghz while overclocking right?
and it wont be bad if i play a heavy game like ark on 4.8ghz OC for like 15 hours with few chrome pages?
also whats the difference between the z270f and z270e?
oh and sorry for so many questions but if i switch the PSU for the Corsair RM650x will it all be good?
i want a PSU that will be able to hold gtx 1080ti and i7-7700k while overclocked, i hope Corsair RM650x is enough since its cheap in my country here

Its better not to push to extreme overclocks with the H7. Seasoned guys can get more maybe, but since you have not done it before, its better to play safe.
15x7 load is fine with that cooler.
270E has more fan connectors, bluetooth, wifi, more usb 3.1 all at $12 more.
Corsair RMx is a top quality unit. It should do fine.

oh also i wanted to know how much thermal paste do i need for the i7 7700k with the cryorig h7?
do i need to apply just a little dot on the CPU and thats it?
because i see alot of people cover all of the cooler spot and i dont know which ones best
