about to build a new gaming rig and wanted some reassurance and suggestions before I buy the parts! So, please let me know if there are any areas i can improve or suggestions to make the build better I would greatly appreciate it.

You can do much better.
You only need to store OS and software, maybe one or two relatively low capacity games on the SSD you want fast loading times on, as that's the only improvement SSDs give games.
Leave 40GB spare at all times on the SSD to prevent performance limitations.

No, you need a hard drive, the full power Enthoo Pro is overkill, and the PSU you're listing is extremely poor quality.
That Trident Z memory isn't good value, but since you seem insistent on putting it in there I put in some Trident Z sticks which suit the color scheme of red to go with the motherboard.

Ok, well i will swap out the psu and go with the mid tower then. ill go the route you suggest with the HD. i just dont really have big need for a massive hard drive. i could easily work with 500 gigs (understanding that that realistically gives me 300 gigs to work with

which memory would you suggest? im not loytal to gskill at all, i just wlays thought they had a decent product.

i would be really open to suggestions on how to improve the memory

The G.Skill Aegis 3000Mhz kit i've listed is killer value atm, the Trident sticks are overpriced.
Stick with the HDD, only use the SSD for software, OS and a few games you want to load faster, leave 40GB spare.

Sorry for being so inquisitive and asking a million questions but is their a benefit in running the HDD along side of the SSD outside of extra storage? for like 50 bucks more, i can get a 500 gig SSD in comparison to the 250sd + 2 TB HDD. i just have zero need for more than like 300 gigs.

also, im really not finding much information on the mobo or memory. they dont seem to be very popular or reviewed very often

You will always find ways to fill up that SSD easily. The games alone these days go over 50Gb..
Say you make some videos, or download some movies, you dont need a SSD for that..

The motherboard is pretty good, one of the best if you want to do some overclocking as well ;)

The RAM is an extremely high quality high frequency G.Skill DDR4 kit, and the mobo is a great Z270 board with good features for the money from Asrock.
You definitely need more than just 500GB of space, since only 450 would be usable anyway.
Games don't benefit from SSD speeds, and AAA titles go upwards of 50GB easily, GTA V for example is something crazy like 120GB.

alright, thanks my man, ill keep you guys updated on the build! imma spend the evening brushing up on some tutorials before purchasing the parts in the next few days. ill post photos of the build.

side note, are there any cables/thermal paste/ case fans, etc that i should buy?
