Best budget CPU pair for GTX 750 Ti

Solution

If you can find a cheap 8350 then do that, for some reason got excellent performance from an older 750. I would even say the 8320 but after seeing the 8350 and comparing the FPS the 8350 got like 30 frames more using the same card.
Nevermind saw you are using an FM2+ board...
Avoid APU's as you really need 4 cores dedicated to the CPU.
Athlon probably works as other's suggested..

Well sadly I only have an FM2/FM2+ motherboard now.
RAM is plenty 2x 4 GB Kingston Generic 1333 MHz (OC to 1532 MHz)
What is the best CPU AMD has to offer for this socket? Is it better or worse than the G4560?

Did some scouting on the used market just now for both the AMD A10 and the 64560 found a few and wow the AMD A10 is $50 more than the G4560 here in the Philippines haha damn the taxes

Probably also because the A10 CPUs from the 7000 series are a little outdated, and thus getting more expensive already.

The most sensible choice you could do on your socket would be a Athlon X4 845, as it's the strongest FM2+ CPU without an integrated GPU, lowering it's price.

I'd rather advise getting the G4560 with new motherboard and RAM, but if it must be FM2+, the Athlon would be my suggestion.

No problem ;)

Also, make sure to update your BIOS to the latest version (always do the update inside the BIOS, not in Windows) to make sure your mainboard will run the new CPU. Especially if it's a FM2 and not a FM2+ mainboard.

Athlons are simply APUs without the integrated graphics unit. Any Athlon X4, A8 or A10 APU will have 4 cores, but the cores by themselves have rather low performance by today's standards.

It would have helped if we knew his current CPU and the exact mainboard model, but the Athlon X4 845 should have more performance than most FM2(+) CPUs.
