Hi,
I'm a professional video editing needs and I'm building a work station for myself with a fair bit of gaming for those slow days.
Starting off, would the below system be okay for motion graphic creation?
The setup I've ordered is
Intel i5 7600k
2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB =16 GB
Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Motherboard
ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 AMP Edition 6GB GDDR5
And a Western Digital 2TB Blue HDD
Now, from my ancient pc i have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 SATA HDD
I have also ordered Windows 10 pro. All parts should be here by the end of this week.
Now i mean to install the OS and whatever hard hitting software onto the newer HDD. Storage isn't really an issue yet. But would i be able to plug in the old HDD and access my old data from that?
Also, i mean to get a 1TB SSD by the end of the year. Would i be able to transfer OS onto the SSD then?
Thanks
