Replaced my hard drive and my computer won't go on the internet

I just replaced the hard drive in a Toshiba L 305 S5919 and I can't get on the internet. I down loaded every program of off Toshiba support hard drives and still no luck. Also, I have a phrase on the corner of my screen saying "windows 7 build 7600 this copy of windows is not genuine."

Not Genuine means you need to register the OS. Win7 needs a valid key (should have a key on the computer case or in a booklet, etc.) You'll need to google how to add the key.

If for some reason your key isn't available at the moment, type cmd in lower left search box, then right-click on the cmd program as admin, type "slmgr -rearm" in the command box that opened, and press enter. It should prompt you to restart the computer IIRC. Been ages so might be missing a step. Google will help.

Once computer restarts, you'll be on a 30 trial. That'll allow you to update on windows update to service pack 1, get all the new security updates, etc. and allow you to find the key if not readily available.

As far as internet goes, you'll need to create a Home Network. Get into Network and Sharing, and create a connection.

What firewall are you using? If using windows firewall, I think it defaults to only allowing IE. If you have firefox or chrome, you might need to "allow" the applications. I personally don't like windows firewall, and like "TinyWall Firewall". Need to allow any programs it won't auto-detect, but otherwise it's a set and go firewall.

Okay, so don't be pissed at me. I thoroughly understand that I shouldn't have touched the computer in the first place. I tried to factory reset the computer and now I have an error page. I researched it and tried the whole "shift-f10" bit, but it didn't work. This is what I tried....
"On the same error screen press SHIFT+F10 and it will open up a black Window. (a command prompt window)

HKLocal machine/SYSTEM/SETUP/STATUS/ChildCompletion, and after highliting childcompletion,on the right hand side check for setup.exe. if the value is 1 change it to 3.(by double clicking on setup.exe and changing the value shown in the box)."
Well there was do "setup.exe". It was more like a dex i think and no value. I sent a picture of what is on my screen. Please show mercy and help me!

Bob, I just realized I didn't click respond, so I wasn't sure if you got my last message. I can't seem to figure out how to send a picture now. I'm really beside myself. The message is "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To uninstall Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation"-doesn't work. It just goes back to this same ol' message.
