Something doesn't look right with my temperatures under load. Is it me or are they going way too high?

trippy,

The Real Temp Sensor Test shows that your Core temperatures are at Throttle temperature (Tj Max 100°C) on 3 of your 4 Cores.

Not to pop your bubble, but the Corsair H60 is a low-end liquid cooler which overlaps with mid-range air coolers, so it's not going to give you the best Core temperatures. Your ambient temperature is close to normal or "Standard" which is 22°C or 72°F, so that's not a problem.

However, do not use versions of Prime95 later than 26.6 on 2nd through 7th Generation i3, i5 or i7 CPU's, which all have AVX (Advanced Vector Extension) Instruction Sets. Recent versions of...

However, do not use versions of Prime95 later than 26.6 on 2nd through 7th Generation i3, i5 or i7 CPU's, which all have AVX (Advanced Vector Extension) Instruction Sets. Recent versions of Prime95 such as 28.1 or 28.9 run AVX code on the CPU's Floating Point Unit (FPU) which causes unrealistic temperatures up to 20°C higher. The FPU test in the utility AIDA64 shows similar results.

Please download Prime95 version 26.6 - http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=15504

Run only Small FFT’s for 10 minutes.

Since Real Temp has unfortunately been left to wither on the vine (updated January 4th 2012), use Core Temp (updated March 18th 2017) to measure your Core temperatures - http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp

Your Core temperatures will test up to 20°C lower with v26.6 than with v28.1 or v28.9.
