It's a good build, I just wanted an amd build because of the cores

 
More than 8 threads won't help at all in gaming atm, plus the 7700 performs much better than Ryzen in games.
Ryzen is only a good option if you're doing video rendering or 3D modelling work, Intel still has the advantage in gaming.
More cores does not necessarily = better.
