My GPU(HD 7870) is dead and I would like to upgrade preferably to NVIDIA this time. The max price range is 200-250euros. Keeping the rest of the build the same, what is my best choice?

CPU:FX 8120 3.1GHz
MOBO:AsRock 970 extreme3 socket am3
PSU:Corsair CX 600 80 plus bronze(600W)
RAM:Hyper X 2x4 GB

Also thanks in advance. Im so demoralized I forgot the basics...

what card you can get in that price range? though if you look for nvidia card you don't need for the more expensive model if you only care about performance. even the most basic model will perform and overclocked just as good as the more expensive model. most of the time the more expensive model just comes with extra feature that did not affect gaming performance like RGB lighting or 0dB feature for the fan.

Hi, I would say try Radeon RX 480/580. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB is over the limit and 3 GB version is not worth it. Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 4 GB costs around 240 euros. I has new, thick and more efficient cooler. Also MSI Gaming X edition is great. Choose the one with better price in your country.

Hi, the rx 480 is a great card, nvidia has a gab in that price range the 1060 3gb is not worth it and the 1050 ti is too low end(its a good card, but i'm guessing that you want more performance than it can give you) I recommend you saving up for the 1060 6gb version(ik it's out of budget, but it performs fantastic.)
hope this answers your question.
