I've just set up a new build with the following specification:
- i7 7700K
- Corsair Hydro Series H100
- Corsair 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM
- GTX 1080Ti
- ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero 1151
- Samsung 850 Evo SSD's
- Corsair RM850x PSU
- 6 Corsair HD120 fans
- Corsair Node Pro

All of the fans are plugged into the controller, and when using the controller, the Mode and Colour works correctly, but the speed doesn't do anything and I don't know why.

Also when I first started my PC all my fans were in maximum RPM constantly, as if my PC were about to take off.

So I have so far gone into my BIOS and set the Q-Fan to run in PWM, and that toned down the RPM.

But now I have the issue where the speed on the controller still doesn't work, and when in PWM mode, the fans fluctuate in speed constantly, I know they are meant to, but its ridiculous, I only have to move my mouse, or open a browser and they speed up insanely (They are constantly going up and down), I don't know what going wrong. Can any one help?

Duplicate thread - check your other one. ALSO check carefully that you have connected items as Corsair instructs. This thread says, "All of the fans are plugged into the controller....", whereas your other thread says they are connected to the Node Pro. And neither mentions the Corsair LED Hub, which is supposed to be used for six fans.
