Gigabyte GeForce GT 740 2GB OC Video Card
Price: $ 89.99 *Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-Graphic-GV-N740D5OC-2GI-REV3/dp/B01MTIZDXD/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494939641&sr=8-1&keywords=Gigabyte+GeForce+GT+740+2GB+OC+Video+Card

Memory: 2GB DDR3
Interface: PCI Express x16
Maximum monitors: 4
Outputs: 2x DVI-I, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA
Minimum power supply for ONE card: 400 Watts (+ one 6-pin external power connectors)

I had to add this card in: a superb, highly reliable, DUAL-SLOT, CHEAP 4 monitors video card. This is a winner for low budget. NOTE: the great point about this card is that it has 2x DVI-I outputs with one VGA and one HDMI output, which is practical since MOST monitors still have those basic connectors so you won't need adapters.

It's also one of the rarest breeds of cards: it can run 4 LEGACY outputs at the same time (VGA, DVI & HDMI are called legacy outputs). That's something that the vast majority of cards can't: their either need active adapters or that some of the monitors be connected with DisplayPort cables.

NOTE: this card is '2 generation behind' as of 2017, but for basic office use there aren't better options so far. In fact the entire Geforce 710, 720, 730 & 740 will be the mainstream office cards for multi-monitor computers for a few more years to come. There is no other cards in the newer line ups from Geforce to replace them yet. When they will update their line-up, I'll update this card. This is currently a great value for a work PC: it will play all videos at full 1080p resolution, do anything you want to do with it as long as you don't want to game.

VGA doesn't even support 1080p.
I'd get a card with 2 display ports and a dongle that does 1 display port into 3.

Where does it says anything about 1080p ? he or she is not even asking for a specific resolution. I'm I missing SOMETHING?? And that card actually supports a VGA Maximum Resolution off 2048x1536 andI was talking about the video card been able to play videos at full @1080p and of curse the VGA does support more than 1080p and the other 3 can too(2x DVI-I, 1x HDMI)

Because the other cards able to support 4 monitors is almost twice the price :

PNY Quadro K620 Graphic Card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MPXS3RW/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=mmcdl-20
Price: $ 159.99 *
Memory: 2 GB DDR3
Interface: PCI Express x16
Maximum monitors: 4
Outputs: 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x DVI-D
Maximum Power: 41 Watts
Warranty: 3 Years

An inexpensive, yet super reliable 4 monitor graphic card. NOTE: you can connect up to 4 monitors using DisplayPort 1.2 by daisy-chaining them so you'll need monitors with DisplayPort 1.2 and MST enabled like the Dell U2415 24-Inch LED Monitor with VESA mounts. Oh, and Nvidia QUADRO cards are built for professionals so they are ever-lasting, you-can-rely-on cards, which is why they are a bit more expensive than other cards. PROS want the top stuff.

VisionTek Radeon 7750 SFF 2GB GDDR5 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YY3WB6U/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=mmcdl-20
Price: $ 177.99 *
Memory: 2GB DDR3
Interface: PCI Express x16
Maximum monitors: 4 monitors at 4K resolution
Outputs: 4x mini-Displayport (native),
or 2x DVI (included adapters) + 2 full size DisplayPort (included adapters)
Minimum power supply for ONE card: 350 Watts (70 watts needed / card)

(Windows 10 compatible) This is a unique card. It's not only among the lowest cost 4-monitor video card on the market now, but it't also one of the rare that can run FOUR (4) monitors at 4K, if you're lucky enough to have those. It's also a LOW POWER video card, so you can have 3-4 in the same computer and still have a small power supply for it.

NOTE: this card is compatible with Windows 8 & 10. In fact as of 2017, I have an older version of this card, a Radeon 5570 (4-monitor also) mixed in with 2 other modern Geforce cards in the same computer and they all work perfectly in Windows 10.

IMPORTANT: You must use a MAXIMUM of 2 LEGACY connectors / adapters (DVI or VGA) or have ACTIVE adapters for it to work. In other words, you can connect:
2x monitors with DVI and 2x with DisplayPort
2x monitors with DVI and 2x with HDMI (needs adapters)
2x monitors with VGA (needs adapters) and 2x with DisplayPort
etc, as long as the maximum legacy (HDMI, DVI, VGA) outputs is 2

And this is the cheapest option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AZ7M2OY/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=mmcdl-20

EVGA GT 710 2GB DDR3 Single Slot, Low Profile
Price: $ 44.99 *
Memory: 2 GB
Interface: PCI Express x16
Maximum monitors: 3
Outputs: 1x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA
Minimum power supply for ONE card: 300 watts

NOTE: This is the lowest cost, 3 monitors video card on the market today AND it is made by one of the most consumer-centric company: EVGA. They work very hard on making the best, most loved and used video card. NOTE: this is a SINGLE-SLOT card, and you can convert it to low profile if desired with included parts.

PS: Oh and I just bought this card recenlty and I can say that I LOVE it. Simple, small, REALLY inexpensive, common outputs (DVI, VGA, HDMI) & compatible with Windows 10. If you're not gaming, you could put 2 of these cards in a PC and have a total of 9 monitors (along with the 3 on your integrated CPU Graphics) for a cheap cheap highly dependable day-trading computer.

NOTE: this card is "2 generation behind" as of 2017, but for basic office use there aren't better options so far. In fact the entire Geforce 710, 720 & 730 will be the mainstream basic cards for multi-monitor computers for a few more years to come. There is no other cards in the newer line ups from Geforce to replace them yet. When they will update their line-up, I'll update this card. This is currently the best value for a work PC: it will play all videos at full 1080p resolution, do anything you want to do with it as long as you don't want to game.

And this one is a bit better even for a bit of gaming but like I already said is not the cheapest one

Gigabyte GTX 750Ti 2GB GDDR5 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IGQ4UX8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=mmcdl-20
Price: $ 149.99 *
Memory: 2 GB GDDR5
Interface: PCI Express x16
Maximum monitors: 4
Outputs: 2x DVI, 2x HDMI
Minimum power supply for ONE card: 400 Watts

Perfect for VALUE GAMING. Low cost, yet speedy enough to play most recent games at low to medium settings. Will also play older, but still great games at higher settings. It will run 4 monitors with ease when not gaming.

I don't believe the GT740 can support four monitors without at least one active adapter.

Really need to know what monitors, and resolutions, to make a more educated choice of card.

Depending on the computer, you might be able to run one or two monitors from the integrated graphics.

I should have specified my setup. Only two of my monitors are 1080p. The third one is an old 17 inches and the last one is a projector (1024 x 768). The computer is used to show a digital battlemap for tabletop RPGs (Pathfinder, Dungeons and Dragons) and various programs for the Game Master (Maptools, HeroLab, Syrinscape and RealmWorks).

My computer doesn't have integrated graphics. My current graphic card doesn't support more than 2 monitors and the computer doesn't have an extra pcie 16x slot, so I will have to replace the card.

I think the best choice so far is the GT740, though I'd like if there were even cheaper options (the GT740 is about 140$ CAD). I will verify my power supply once I get home.

Stop confusing the old Geforce GT740 GDDR3 with the newer Gigabyte GT740 OC 2GB GDDR5 they are different cards. The Gigabyte does support 4 displays at once how many times do I need to put the specs of the card?
I already put the specs and the link from Gigabyte. Now Here are the Specs again from NEWEGG https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125774
