I would like to get a SSD, but from what I understood my MoBo doesn't have a valid place for one (heres info of my MoBo id interested: https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c01357135 If you happen to find one in it please post a picture of it)

So I was thinking of getting a PCI-E x1 adapter that gives me 2 USB 3.0 and then getting this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-SATA-Drive-Adapter-Cable/dp/B00HJZJI84

and then getting a Toshiba 240GB OCZ TL100 SSD.

My questions are:
1. will it work
2. will it be worth the money
3. will the usb 3.0 bottleneck the SSD

Thanks for all the help :)

You have SATA ports - probably SATA II at best though.

You can connect, just like you can any (sata based) HDD or optical drive.

Probably limited in speed some due to the speed limitations of SATA II, but should still be a noticeable improvement vs mechanical HDDs.

Given the age and limitations, I'd pick up the absolute most budget SSD you can find. The speed improvements in more expensive options aren't going to be noticeable in that setup.
