the downside for me was you canont trade what so ever, if you get a drop its yours?
you cannot trade anything.
thats why ive quitted the game, if you prefer ironman gamestyle go for it.

The Good
-Great Graphics
-Unique Combat " You have to Aim and dodge"
-In depth Crafting and mini games
-Player Housing
-Large Scale PVP Seige.. Very fun if your PC can handle it.
-Character Creation
The Bad
-You need a Strong PC for most anything.
-Graphic glitches are quite common
-Lots of "Waiting" Which you can buy things with $$ to speed up. Everything you do cost points.. run out you have a long wait to refill or spend $$$.
-Character Customization.. it's limited for free and Expensive in the Cash Shop
-Gender Locked Classes
-Some Classes are just downright boring to play.
-Voice Acting.... It's bad..really bad and the NPC Text doesn't match what they say quite often.
-Poor Story
-Boring predictable AI's and Unimaginative Monsters.
-Large Empty World
-Heavy Grinding
-Frequent server side disconnects.
I had high hopes for BD but like most Asian ports it disappoints, If I were to give it a rating I would say 70/100. The Combat system is one of the focal points of the game but that is only fun against other players, the AI is just boring and predictable.

Don't listen to em,i started bdo a week ago and i played REALLY alot (like 5h every day) and not ONCE i got disconnected. It's true that there re some glitches but they re really thiny things.. The classes are gender locked but seriously.. you have ninja/kunoichi , musa/mahwa , witch/wizard etc .......
I have a comon pc (gtx950 , i5 ,8gb) and i'm playing all Max at 30fps (20 with alot of people).
The only bad thing is that you will need to watch 10hours of "bdo how to ...?" on youtube because you ll understand nothing on your own.
I'll buy the game next week so you can have one of my codes if you want to test it for 7days, and really this game s amazing
. So I just want to test this game when it comes on steam, and u said something about your codes? Can I test it for 7 days for free or ??

Steam has a huge sale on BD online 45% of or more right now so if your looking into joining then you might want that route. I would highly suggest grabbing those pack while they are cheap now as that offsets the grind to pay for them ingame. Things can get expensive if you want to be competitive unless you can play 4+ hours a day and devoute that to the grind.

I actually bought Black Desert when it was on sale on Steam and I have to say I do enjoy it. The combat is fun and the graphics are good. I haven't seen much for P2W but am still new to the game.
