Hello. I'm trying to overclock my core 2 duo cpu. I'm running windows 10 64. In bios, I change the frequency but when I go in task manager it still says max speed 2.53 (default clock), but in cpu z it shows that current speed is the overclocked one. So, is the cpu running with the overclocked speed or no?

Yes. Task manager shows the specifications of the CPU, meaning that under normal circumstances your CPU would be running @2.5 Ghz. Its actually running at whatever frequency you overclocked to.
