Borderlands 2 Bloodwing Reset Glitch

I'm having a very frustrating glitch occur during the Bloodwing battle. I'll get Bloodwing's health down then it will suddenly reset after a dive attack. Sometimes I'll get Bloodwing to the third element (corrosion I think). Then suddenly there is a momentary glitch in the music, Bloodwing hits the ground and Bloodwing is instantly reset to full health and fire Bloodwing again.

If I quit the game and open it again. I can see Bloodwing flying around in the distance and Mordecai saying he is throwing me stuff.

Does the whole Wildlife Exploitation level have to be replayed. While the game is somewhat amusing. Having to replay areas whenever I quit the game is becoming tiresome. I'm thinking of just deleting the game.

For anyone with this problem or with another mission. Gibbed's Borderlands 2 Editor fixed the problem.

You will need to the leave the whole area the mission is on. In this case I left the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve. Make a backup copy of your save file, just in case. Then open your save file, find the mission in question and delete it, then save changes. When you launch Borderlands 2 load the character with the edited save file. You can then start the mission again. If this is a story mission and you already completed side quests. Choose the option to skip everything.

Do not mark the mission as completed. This can cause a bug in the game you may not realize until much later on. At which point you will have to delete all the story...

I've killed everything between where the level loads and the boss in each instance. This bug developed after the first run through.

On the first run through everything was fine. There was no reset. After dying a couple of times I did an alt + f4 to avoid losing any more money. After that the bug developed. It keeps occurring each time I try the fight again.

This last time it was even worse. The boss fight never had to reload. When I load the game and spawn at the greeting area. It just acts as though the battle is still going. When I get to the skag area described. I can see Bloodwing flying around in the distance, take shots at it. and get attacked.

Just an update. I've worked my way out of the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve and played several missions. I decided to return to the level to see if it reset. Sadly, it did not. As soon as I entered the level I could see Bloodwing flying in the distance. I guess my save game is messed up and there is no way I'm about to replay the entire game.

Has anyone used Gibbed's Borderlands 2 Save Editor? I'm wondering if there is a flag I can change in my save file. Either to show the mission is complete or to reset the mission.

At which point you will have to delete all the story missions back to the corrupt mission and change the games mission number back to the correct mission. Then replay all those missions.
