I have had my Gigabyte gtx 1060 for about 5 months now and it has worked perfectly fine. However, the past few weeks while playing rocket league the screen will go black while playing (as if it lost input) and it will turn back on but with significantly lower fps. I have vertical sync on so it is locked at 60 frames but when this happens it goes as low as 19. If i restart the computer it will fix the problem, but this happens every day. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? I have only noticed this in rocket league.
My pc specs:
motherboard: MSI 970 gaming
cpu: fx 8350
gpu: gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb
ram: G. Skill sniper 16gb (4x4gb)
drives: Corsair 120gb ssd and 2tb seagate hard drive
psu: evga supernova 750 B2
case: thor v2
keyboard: corsair strafe rgb
Also, I've noticed that since around the time i bought my new keyboard, when i start up a game my mic becomes muted in Discord. So i have to disconnect and join back. Any thoughts on that as well?
