New GPU FIFA 13 Issues

I've recently wanted to try and go back and play some FIFA 13, but it doesn't launch. The only major changes in my PC have been swapping my GTX 780 for a GTX 1070. I'm almost certain either the drivers or the actual card itself are the problem. Any suggestions?

Did you uninstall your gfx driver correctly when changing cards . You need to use something like DDU uninstaller .Then install the latest for your card.

That's the programe to remove the driver properly.

I'll try it later, but the rest of my games work perfectly so I think the drivers are ok

It may seem like that but unless when u swapped cards You used ddu ,the chances are the old driver left something behind.

I've installed the drivers, I wasn't on the newest ones, and now I remember why. I constantly get an error that says "NVIDIA Container has stopped working" over and over again. I'm not sure how to fix that, but I don't think this fixed my original issue. But, should there be similar NVIDIA Corporation folders in both Program Files and Program Files x86 directories?

Do you use Origin software to launch fifa?

Yes and no, I've tried using Origin and that didn't work but my friends pirated copy was working so I tried that too, neither worked

You can only play the game with origin now. It requires origin to activate it .

Create a new user account in windows control panel . Then launch origin /fifa from there

For who still have the problem, try to open the fifasetup.txt, and change de aspect ratio= 1.333 for 1. (its in my documents/fifa 13)

now for the solution that worked for me.
disable your internet connection
browse to the fifa13 folder in my documents
remove instance0, fifasetup and buttonDataSetup
Start fifa13
when I deleted these 3 files I could start the game again.

Thanks for all the help, but I've tried all of this and it isn't working. I don't think it's worth all this hassle at this point. I'll just buy a newer FIFA game when I get the cash. I'm sure if someone else has this issue and finds this thread it will help them

When you reinstalled the latest driver, did you use DDU to uninstall first or did you just install the new one over top of whatever was already there?
