I think I have a problem with my i5 2500k temperature.

I recently got this old, but nice PC from a friend with an i5 2500k processor. I've noticed that the cpu fan is very loud and the PC slightly shakes my desk when on. At the moment, my Cpu is at 59* Celsius just searching the web. I also noticed that when I used the overclock option from my motherboard, It shot up to 100* Celsius on idle.

Obviously the 100* overclock on idle is bad, but what about the 59* from searching the web without overclocking? Also, how do I fix this problem to get normal temperatures and noise level?

Cooler not properly mounted and also don't use any auto overclock setting on your motherboard as the voltage will most likely go higher than necessary.

Good.. i had the same problem. I bought aio liquid cooler corsair instead. Idle aroind 40 and max around 60. Hehhe. Think our 2500k still can last for 2 to 3 years
