First of all I don't have a very deep understanding of computers, so please be gentle on the tech language.
Recently I've experienced a number of different crashes in a number of different games. I'm trying to get to the root of the problem. Almost all games make a crash log upon a crash and they often contain a crash GUID. To my understanding a crash GUID is a sort of id for a line of code, file, memory etc, so if I can understand what the GUID is identifying I would be able to see what caused the crash.
Could someone talk me through some basics on crash GUID's and (if it's possible) how to find what their ID'ing.
