Usually, my computer is completely fine with running Minecraft and other games. I am able to run Resonant Rise 3 (256 mods) at a stable 70 Fps and higher. Same with Overwatch, it caps at 70 with full settings and never goes below 60. Being that I play Overwatch a LOT, it's really noticeable when there's an FPS drop, as a few frames can decide life or death. Anyway, yesterday, my computer was perfectly fine with running anything, now, it has a tough time getting to 30 FPS in Minecraft with low settings, and it has a tough time getting to 60 FPS in Overwatch.
Specs:
CPU: i7 - 4790K Quad w/ Hyper thread 4.0 Ghz
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 2X8=16GB DDR3 1800
OS: Windows 7 64 bit on 250GB SSD
1 TB HDD, 2 TB HDD, 500GB SSD
I run Overwatch off of my SSD, and MC off of the 1 TB HDD.
CPU has good cooling, as it never goes about 50C even when stress tested.
