There is an option in my BIOS to enable 'WINDOWS 8/10 WHQL SUPPORT' but when I attempt to enable this and boot it will not boot into my windows 10 installation. It flashes to an MSI logo and then back to my BIOS.

Do I need to reinstall windows using this option enabled and the f11 key? I upgraded to windows 10 on this computer and never actually installed it, I did install windows 7 and with that option enabled it works fine.

Do I really need to enable this and reinstall my windows? Will it give me extra performance or any added benefit? Thanks for responses.

If your system is installed in legacy/csm mode, then you should not enable this setting. Enable it only if system is installed in UEFI mode. This setting doesn't provide performance benefits.

Windows 8.1/ 10 WHQL Support - when enabled, the system will switch to UEFI mode to meet the Windows requirement.
Before enabling this item, make sure all installed devices & utilities (hardware &software) meet the Windows 8.1/ 10 requirements.
