I reinstalled Windows back in early April but just did it again on Monday due to getting a new HDD and GPU (750Ti to 1050Ti). Well when I reinstalled Windows the first time in April I remember I was able to see my desktop in 1920 x 1080p resolution BEFORE ever installing my 750Ti drivers.
But just two days ago I was never able to get a normal resolution without getting my 1050Ti drivers... you know when you first reinstall Windows and it's HUGE icons with terrible resolution. I had this until I got my 1050Ti drivers through GeForce Experience.
I had all of my mobo's drivers (see signature) on a flash drive prior and installed the "AMD Chipset and VGA Drivers" - I SWEAR the first time this changed my resolution without having my GPU drivers but this time it didn't. How can I make sure that if I uninstall my GPU drivers for whatever reason that I still get normal resolution from just my display?
