Hello,
I have a toshiba satellite S55, and I replaced my battery and since then I am getting the same error every time i try to start my laptop:
"Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.1.1.2(09/06/12)

Check cable connection!
PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.

Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

I am using windows 8..
Thank You for your help, and just let me know if you need any more info.

Solution
For a long time, Toshiba used Intel RST and configured their laptop drives as RAID even though there was only one drive. Go into your BIOS settings and try setting the storage type to RAID.

The ethernet stuff is coming up because the laptop can't find a valid boot device. When that happens, it goes down the list and the next option is booting off the network (used in some corporate environments to prevent users from altering the system).
