I am trying to stream CSGO, and Bf4 on twitch. I will be playing on my pc. The settings i have for OBS is 2500 bitrate, keyframe 2 and profile main. My upload speed is 1.5/2 mbs.

Now when i have tryed to stream, my ping in game in csgo spikes to anything above 200+. As well for my stream it becomes very laggy.

Is there any settings that i can use so that i can stream with my low upload speed?

Thanks

I would like to stream in 720, and I'll lower my bitrate to 2000, is 480 the highest quality I'll be able to stream?

If i lower my bitrate and still try to stream in 720p will it cause my ping to be really high?

as well how am i able to set the settings for the resolution? is it through obs itself?

Ah ok thanks.
I contacted ATT and they said i have to use the router/modem combo they supplied me. As well im paying 7$ a month for their internet product(router/modem) is there a way around using it?

I assume you also get home phone/landline service from them?
Then sorta kinda yes.
If you aren't getting your landline from them, then you actually do have options.

I also assume you're getting DSL with such a low upload speed. Netgear makes DSL Modems/routers: http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/dsl-modems-routers/

I don't have a landline, I do have DSL for TV as well though. I was told that I have to use the att modem that was provided. That U-verse only works with the provided modem, which makes it impossible to get out of paying for the $7.

I'm not very good with networking, all the router/modem combo is confusing

You can usually buy your own Modems and Routers, and they're vastly superior (and you don't have to pay the monthly fee anymore).
