So im building a computer from scratch. I have all the parts but the processor because getting the money for it.. Anyways.

I have an fxf 280x Black Dissipation (Think thats the name)
and im wondering if it will bottleneck an i5-7600k... If it does how much would it bottleneck it?

(Rest of specs) Dont think these are really important... But here anyways

750W Power Supply

RipJaw V 16gb

Z270M Mortar by MSI Motherboard

UpHere technology watercooler

1TB HD

(By the way this might be a stupid question, I dont know about bottlenecking too much)

Solution
Bottleneck 101:

Some part maxes out its performance before the rest of the system.
In your combination, the 280x is the weak sister. At the extreme ends of resolution and visual effects, it will be eventually running at 100%, while the CPU is not.

Here's a fun fact for you...
Every single system that exists has a 'bottlenck' somewhere. At some point, some part is running out of resources before the rest of the system.

And for an answer to your question of "how much"...all that can be said is "some".
XFX R9 280X Double Dissipation Black Edition, probably it.

Not terrible, but you can do better nowadays.

I'd suggest saving some $$$, get a 7500, B250 motherboard, and 8 or 16 GB RAM depending on you.

The 7600k has a little higher frequency, but to take advantage of the unlocked multiplier you need a beefy CPU cooler and a Z270 or updated Z170 motherboard to even make it worth it. Another $100 or so in that over standard components.

Just updated the thread, shows everything else I have. So would it bottleneck though?

Yeah USAFRet has a real point.

Usually in gaming GPU has the biggest effect on performance (within reason of course)

Seeing as you have all the parts, I wouldn't worry. Sit back. Enjoy it. Wait for spiffy new cards to come out. Buy a nice one then.
R9 280X isn't a great card but I think you'll have a satisfactory experience playing some new stuff HD high settings.
