Msi afterburner profiles

I recently got a 144hz monitor and came to the conclusion i need to lock my fps using riva tuner for a more smooth experiance. I am curious about using the msi profiles for overclocking. I have 2 profiles setup on being stock core/mem clock and my overclock which i tested in heaven/ firestrike/ Is there any damage switching profile via hot key ? For some reason Starcraft 2 doesnt like my oc but other games dont have an issue does this mean my overclock is no good ?

No it should be totally safe to switch your profiles on the go.
