Hello, i am currently helping a friend upgrade his PC and he's very excited because he will buy a GTX 1080 TI. The problem is that he has an old Coolermaster M2 Silent Pro 1000W in his system, so he doesn´t know if it is enough for the system an this new graphic card.

He has an old i7 from 2013 and isn't planning on adding another card in the near future for SLI. Also he will upgrade processor in the holidays, so he isn't worried about a bottleneck in his system in the near future.

I know that maybe it's a little bit silly upgrading to a gtx 1080TI with a CPU of 2013 but well, he doesn't want to wait until holidays to enjoy the card.

Nothing wrong with this at all, i imagine the i7 is a 3770/4770 which are still plenty of Gaming without bottlenecking. As for the Power Supply, it's a solid supply and easily enough to handle a GTX 1080 Ti. Hope this helps :)
