I have 4 gb 11-11-11-28 1600mhz elixer ram i think in my prebuild pc and I wanted to upgrade it to 8 so I bought a 4 gb 9-9-9-24 1600mhz ballistx sport cusial ram secondhand

I worked just fine for 2 weeks but since one week I got constant blue screens with difrent errors so I got the new stick out and I work just fine
And than I put it back in and got the old one out and it works just fine

Is the problem that the sticks can't work together of is it something else?

Pc specs

I5 4460
500gb
GTX 1050
4/8 gb

It is a prebuild medion pc from 2014

I got a gtx 1050 for 2 months

And an extra 4 gb ram

The RAM you bought is probably miss-matched against each other existing stick. RAM is always sold to match each other (if you buy a pair for instance) and this one you bought seems a bit temperamental. I personally would have bought two sticks, at the same time. It seems as though they are both working ok, just not with each other. RAM is funny stuff.
