Is there a possibility for ''upgrading'' the disk cache?

Hi all,
I have a Lenovo Y-700-15ISK laptop, which has two storage devices:
a primary Samsung 128 GB SSD and a 1 TB 5400 rpm WD BLUE HDD as secondary.

I would like to know if there is a way I can ''upgrade'' the HDD's disk cache?

I know that it is possible, with using the SpeedBoost feature with a USB drive, but that is only possible if the OS is not installed on a SSD!
And my OS is installed on the SSD!

So is there an another way to increase the HDD's disk cache?

Please tell me!
Thanks to all in advance!
Best regards!

More about possibility upgrading disk cache
  1. No, you can't add more cache plus there's no need and no benefits to do that on your secondary drive.

  2. I need to upgrade it in order to get better performance while playing games, which are installed on the HDD!

  3. 7200 RPM HDD would help a bit.
