Sorry for the new thread.
I have looked on forums, and other website for instructions when it comes to CPU heatsinks.
You see, mine has literally just broke a day I needed a new one. The online forums have said that all I needed to know was if the heatsink supported my CPU socket; which it does (AM3+) and went out and bought one.
The issue came when actually installing the heatsink as the pins to keep in in place are at a different spot on the motherboard. I.e they are too wide on the motherboard and too small on the heatsink.
Any recommendation on a heatsink that would fit the board would be helpful and much appreciated.
The motherboard in question is: Gigabyte 78LMT USB3.
Thanks guys.
