So heres the deal im on a very small budget my specs are as follows
Mobo: MSI 970A G46
CPU: AMD FX-8350
Ram: 2x 4GB corsair Vengeance
GPU: MSI GTX 960 4GB
SSD: 250GB Samsung EVO 850
PSU: 600WATT Thermaltake

I found out my mobo is just not that good although it supports my cpu its not allowing me to use it to full power....i like to play games liek wow pubg bf csgo while also streaming would it even be worth it to upgrade mobo if so what would be a good mobo?

Eh skip it and just go to ryzen. The fx 8350 is already lagging behind quite a bit. Also do not reuse that psu its bad.

AMD certainly has the budget market cornered once again. Get yourself a 6 core 12 thread CPU for the price of an unlocked i5-7600k or a 4 core 8 thread CPU for the price of a locked i5.

7600k has some benefit since you can overclock it and get very high IPC out of the cores, but Ryzen can be overclocked as well, and on cheaper motherboards, and it comes with an adequate cooler.

Basically comes down to gaming vs productivity. And with any locked Intel processor, the Ryzen platform looks better.
