I have had this pc I built for myself for a year by now and recently had to reset the cmos due to my brother was playing a game on it and got a blue screen, I also got a blue screen but for some reason didn't write the stop code, and then it refused to turn back on and post, I reset the cmos and it comes back on, I already breadboarded the system with an extra kit I had lying around but when I mix the working kit with the original kit I either get my debug led to scream ram issues and then turn off, I did get one of the original sticks to post but when mixed with a working kit it is not detected or will not post

The other stick will not work at all

So my question is asking, is this ram kit truly dead before I try a rma?

specs
B150m bazooka
4x2 gb hyperX 2133 MHz( year old kit)
8 gb ballistix sport 2400 MHz
I5 6400
R9 270
1 ssd with 2 hdd

Solution
Test each of old sticks alone to find out which one is causing problems. If you find one (or more) that will not post, but rest works, RMA the kit. However if all sticks work alone, it may be motherboard problem.
