My laptop, which i got only 2 months ago, suddenly won't pick up any wifi signals at all..?? It worked perfectly until now. All of the other devices in the house are connected, but when I turned my laptop back on, it wasn't. I made sure it wasn't on airplane mode and the wifi is turned on. It says wifi signals are available, but it won't show me any, my own or anyone else's. When i turned off wifi, it didn't turn in no matter how many times I tried until I came back later, that has happened a few times. I tried to restart it and after waiting a long time it said there was a failure with a driver and needed to restart (even though it was in the process of restarting..?) but it turned back on since then with no wifi luck. There was no drop damage or anything else of the sort, this is seemingly random! Help!

Edit: the option to turn wifi on and off has disappeared completely.

Typically there is function key at the top fo the keyboard that will toggle it on or off, you can also enable/dissable it in device manager.

If you look at the fn keys one should have a antena or raido waves symbol on it, on some laptops you just need to press the key, and on others you have to press fn+ that key.

Appatently the eifi adapter had gotten turned off???? I hsve no ides how to do that, but i managed to turn it back on via the network troubleshooting thing, which didn't give that option until AFTER the wifi abilities disappeared. ... huh

I agree with boosted1g that maybe there is a possibility that function key is off and you can easily find that function key on your laptop because there is symbol of network on it. If your problem will solve then its good, but if it's didn't solve then you can reboot it and I think your problem will be solved after doing this. I
