Given Sony just released the PS4 Pro it'll be at the very least 2019 before we'll see another hardware change. They don't want to cannibalize their own sales and lose development costs. Each iteration will last a minimum of 2 to 3 years and designing a new box with the new hardware and development kits takes a lot of time. 2019 or 2020 is more realistic.
