Okay so long story short I'm building a new pc for my mother and she has an hdd. Heard about optane, looked interesting so sure why not I'll give it a go. YEAH...not as easy as it seems. I've installed the card correctly along with the new motherboard(MSI B250M PRO-VD) and cpu(Intel i3 7350k) and flash updated the bios to E7A74IMS.140 which is what they suggested on their wesbite. I've enabled optane genie and long behold...it doesn't work. When i try to run Intels Optane setup it says your system bios configuration is incompatible...any and all help would be greatly appreciated the installation guides and troubleshooting for this seems few and far between.
