Higher memory speed shows higher ryzen processor performance and higher fps in games.

So please decide between G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8GBx2 3200Mhz ($171) or Patriot Viper 8GBx2 3400Mhz ($135

I'm using Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 motherboard

It's not that Ryzen doesn't support 3400mhz they don't have the dividers for 3400mhz or 3000mhz, you get 3466mhz or 2933mhz, however a bios update on the way in the next week or so will change all of that, upto 4000mhz ram support.

Ryzen doesn't support 3400Mhz Ram Speeds and only supports 3200Mhz ram speeds overclocked. Your mobo usually does good with overclocking to 3200Mhz but it won't go any higher than that.
