I just recently built this rig with a Strix RX 460. I am now upgrading to a GTX 1060. Since I am switching gpus, I will be needing to switch my drivers. Since my mobo doesn't have an on-board graphics card. I don't know how to uninstall and reinstall the new ones for the 1060. Please help

My specs:
Mobo: MSI 970a krait edition
CPU: AMD FX 4300
GPU: Strix RX 460 4gb ----> GTX 1060
PSU: 500 W EVGA

Here's what I'd do: First, download the Nvidia drivers. You need them anyways, might as well get them now. Then, uninstall ALL the AMD videocard software but make sure you don't delete AMD chipset motherboard related drivers. Shut down. Switch cards, making sure to connect the pci-ex cable to the 1060. Make sure you connect the monitor to the 1060. Boot up. Windows will go into a basic videocard driver mode, allowing you to use the computer to finish the install. Once at your desktop, install those drivers you already downloaded. I use the custom option, and the 'clean install'. That's it.
