Hi guys, thank you for taking time to read this.

I recently upgraded my computer with a rig of:

i5 7600
Asus Prime B250 Pro
GTX 1060 6gb
Corsair 8GB DDR4
Corsair CP-9020048-UK CX 600W Power Supply
Seagate Barracuda 1TB Internal SATA 3 Hard Drive

I initially had problems with installing WIndows 10 due to an error of "unable to restart your PC. A drive partition is missing" (this is when i still had windows 7). So in installed a installation windows media tool onto my usb, set it as priority in the bios after having cleaned my HDD and it worked fine.

So after i was logged on, i downloaded the drivers for the Motherboard, then the GPU, then downloaded all my other programs like Steam etc etc so they can start downloading as my internet is hella slow. I left it on overnight downloading due to this reason and awoke to then play a bit.

Several hours later i was playing Total War Atilla and tried to quick save "ctl+s" and it froze. I left it for a couple of minutes, then realized it really had frozen, so i tried tabbing out, it would show the different tabs and preview them but wouldnt go on them as this image of Atilla was just frozen taking up the screen. So i tried ctl+alt+del and brought up task manager, but as soon as you get out of the ctl+alt+del page and click task manager, task manager is a tab, and it was therefore overlapped by this Atilla page still.

This was the case for about 4 mins. Then the computer suddenly restarted, i was curious if my cpu had overheated so i went into bios when it was restarting and it was 40°C which is fine.

Then it took me to the BSOD saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart it for you. -Error code: WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR".

I looked this up and browsed some threads, one being on here, and nobody had any suggestions for it apart from one who said he had endured this problem and he refitted his CPU and it was then fine after. So i tried it, even reapplied my thermal paste.

Upon restarting, i got a different error from the BSOD saying "-Error code: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA".

So i returned to look at a solution and people said maybe updating the BIOS would help. Turns out i was two versions behind, so i installed the new BIOS.
Then i got a new BSOD error saying "-Error Code: BAD POOL ERROR". So i tried to look up a solution and there were suggestions to go into the Command Prompt screen and do stuff, but i couldnt do that as i couldnt log in, and the only way i had ever seen it or been able to access it without logging in is with the Windows 10 installation disk.
So i put it in, set it as priority, but it wouldnt even reach it, it went straight to the BSOD. So i figured, ok maybe i need the Windows Installation Media Tool that i needed earlier on, so i put that in and as the priority boot through BIOS and then it gives me a new BSOD error saying "Error Code: RQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL".

I feel i am going around in circles with all these errors and would super appreciate some help please. Please note, i am fairly new to software and hardware so if you did provide help, please speak as simply as possible for my small brain. Many thanks!

Hi, thank you for replying!

I'll give that a go now, thanks for the suggestion.

In the meantime i downloaded MemTest86 which apparently runs tests on your RAM and before looping back to the BSOD, it showed this as the last page of it's test. I can't read that but i don't suppose 81 errors is healthy.

I just downloaded the Seagate tool kit and burned it onto a CD and it says "no hard drives found", but in the BIOS the HDD is recognized?

I just ran it again and it found 1723 errors in one pass. :(

Is there a problem with my RAM and HDD then?

Any solutions/recommendations?

Hi! Many thanks for your reply man!

I havn't overclocked at all.
And I can't get past the BSOD on my computer, im downloading all these ISO toolkits on my laptop.
Is CPU-Z something that can utilized without being logged onto the computer you're trying to fix, because if not it's not possible unless you have an answer to it.
