Where is the GPU/GPU heatsink located in the dell Inspiron 1420 Notebook ?

Hey Guys,
I have this old inpiron 1420 notebook lying around and its CPU and GPU temps used to be like around 75-88C under medium workload, so i decided to replace the thermal compound and the cpu now stays around 58 under full load (46 IDLE) which is good.....however, the GPU (8400M GS) is still hovering around 67(idle) that too when underclocked with msi afterburner.
Does anyone know the location of the GPU in this laptop and if we can replace the thermal paste or How to cool down the GPU ?
(I know its soldered into the motherboard but there must be SOMEthing to cool it down right ?)

  1. OK, so would you recommend me to remove the entire motherboard of the laptop to reapply the paste or is it not worth it at all ?
Because, I couldn't remove the old paste from the CPU with isopropyl alcohol or nail polish remover since it had become really old and I had to literally scratch the heatsink to remove it which took me nearly 2 hours.

If the same happens to the GPU, I really wonder if its worth dissembling the entire laptop and scratching the GPU with the risk of damaging it.
In the case of the CPU, the lappy was anyways not usable for more than a few mins, so it was DO or DIE
but now since its working fine except for playing 720p videos, is there any point of messing with it ?

That most certainly would help lowering temperatures.
But if you're not comfortable with completely disassembling your laptop, you should probably take it to some laptop service center.
