Is my GPU good for gaming?

Hello everyone! I would like to ask you about my computer. I need your opinion on is it good or not? Will I be able to play games like Far cry 4 on ultra and those similar?

Intel Core I5 6400
8 gb ram
Nvidia GTX 1050 2GB dedicated (4 GB video ram memory)

Hello guys I'm back! I hope you will see this reply sooner or later. I had installed few games today and those are: Elder scrolls Skyrim, Farcry 4 and GTA IV

All of these games believe it or not run at maximum ultra details with 1920x1080 resolution.

Playing this game on fullscreen and I also used fraps. It showed that I have around 520-580 fps at every stage of the game. I don't know how much these numbers are actually true but I'm impressed with it. Everything is so smooth and working like a charm. (I couldn't screenshot the gameplay it didn't work for some reason...)

At 1080p, that GPU will struggle to provide 60 fps in AAA games at ultra settings. The 1050 is really more of a budget/esports card.

If you are at a lower resolution than 1080p, or are willing to compromise for lower than ultra settings, you will have better results.

If you like Farcry 4 then you're like me then I say this to you: "With a PC like this you can forget about playing any games on any settings other than medium-to-low.

I don't wanna say that you are wrong guys, but I just got different results! Maybe because these are just old games but i'll see what happens when I install some new.

Later on I may upgrade my computer even more but now I'm satisfied. :)
